My WRT320N works stable on latest release: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/07/12) mini (SVN revision 18946M NEWD-2 K2.6 Eko). I’m using a lot of features such as PPTP for VPN that is stable onto multiple clients to stream MP3 from linked Gigabit NAS. Some other tweaks like the decreased radio signal (3 mW) or the Broadcom Chip downclocking is just phantastic to lower power usage.

Kind regards
Tobias

But internet access is no requirement, not for the upgrade to dd-wrt, and not for using dd-wrt either.

I am still wondering if I can do this without hooking up the router to the internet? The only internet I have is my phone which is 3g. I just want to be able to “repeat” the signal from my phone to a different part of the house as the phones signal doesn’t get far.
